Sintridou has in collaboration with by BILLGREN created the Save the Ocean bracelet, a symbol of hope and action. We care about our nature and environment, so it is important to give back in any way you can.
For every bracelet sold, 100 SEK goes entirely to the non-profit charity The Perfect World Foundation and their vital work to protect our oceans through the Save the Ocean project.
Not everyone may have the opportunity to participate in physical activities like a beach cleanup, but by supporting TPWF you are still contributing so that they can organize beach cleanups on beaches and pick up marine litter out at sea.
DO YOU WANT TO HELP SAVE THE OCEAN?
There is a lot you as an individual can do to help save the oceans. 5 easy tips are:
- Use less plastic. Plastic is by far the most common type of trash found in the ocean, a full 80-85% of ocean trash is plastic. By reducing the use of plastic, you also reduce the risk of it ending up in our oceans. Even if you don't throw your trash on the ground, it can still end up in our oceans if it gets lost.
- Eat sustainably caught fish. Choose fish that has been caught sustainably to reduce overfishing. Look for labels that have independent third-party audits such as MSC, ASC and KRAV.
- Clean up after yourself. Have you and your loved ones had a sunny day at the beach or a lovely picnic on the pier by the lake? Then take an extra look when you leave so that no trash is left behind that could then end up in our oceans.
- Clean the oceans from trash. Take a nice walk along the water on the beach and do something useful at the same time. Bring a bucket or a bag with you and collect the trash lying on the ground, you will collect more than you think! Gather the family and make it a fun competition, who can collect the most trash?
- Support organizations that work to protect the oceans, such as The Perfect World Foundation. You can do this by purchasing our Save The Ocean bracelet, which protects the survival of our oceans and wants to create change. 100 SEK from the sale of each bracelet goes entirely to the organization's Save The Ocean project.
