Care instructions for your jewelry
To keep your jewelry looking its best for as long as possible, it's important to take care of it properly. Here you'll find our general care instructions based on our materials and how the jewelry is made.
General care instructions
- To maintain the original look for as long as possible, it is important not to expose your jewelry to excessive bathing and dishwashing.
- It is also not ideal to sleep with jewelry as you can get caught and break them.
- Also, remember that physical activities such as exercise can affect their lifespan.
- When not wearing your jewelry, store it in its accompanying box and not together with other jewelry that can rub and wear on the pieces.
- Wash the jewelry with soap and lukewarm water when dirty and finish by wiping with a cotton cloth or microfiber towel.
- NOTE! Avoid using a scouring pad or similar abrasive as it can scratch your jewelry.
Material
Our earrings are made of 316L surgical steel and our bracelets, necklaces and rings are made of 304L stainless steel. Our jewelry is approved according to EU standards as nickel-free. This means that the nickel content that precipitates is below the permitted limit of 0.05%.
Our gold jewelry is 18 karat gold plated to get its deep golden color. This means that all the gold jewelry has a coating of real gold, which makes it look exactly like gold-plated gold jewelry but at a significantly lower price.
Surgical and stainless steel jewelry
By keeping your jewelry clean, you extend its lifespan.
Wash your steel jewelry with dish soap and lukewarm water, using a microfiber cloth or cotton cloth. Wash them regularly to always keep your jewelry beautifully shiny.
NOTE! Avoid using an abrasive sponge or similar, as it can scratch your jewelry.
Gold-plated jewelry
Wash them with soap and lukewarm water when they are dirty, and finish by wiping them with a cotton cloth or microfiber cloth. To extend their lifespan, avoid perfume, makeup, and creams where your jewelry is placed.
Tip: When you are not wearing your jewelry, store it in its accompanying box and not together with other jewelry that can rub and wear down the pieces.
NOTE! Do not use any type of cleaning baths or polishing cloths as these will wear down the color significantly.
Beads and gemstones
Our beaded bracelets are made from various gemstones such as lapis, jasper, rose jade, tourmaline, rose quartz, and tiger's eye.
The easiest way to clean them is with a clean, slightly damp cotton cloth. If they need more cleaning, place your bracelet in a bowl of water with a few drops of mild dish soap.
